Pre-Accreditation Survey
If you have not completed the Pre-Accreditation Survey sent in April, please do so. Your input is invaluable in the accreditation process.
 
Full Faculty of Medicine Meeting
The Full Faculty of Medicine Meeting is May 13th from 5 – 6:30 pm, all residents are encouraged to attend. After the meeting, enjoy socializing with your fellow residents in Vancouver; look for a PAR-BC Board Member wearing their PAR-BC lanyard at the meeting for more information on the post meeting social.
 
CAIR Election
Ballots have been sent for the 2013-2014 BC representative on the CAIR Board of Directors. Voting closes on May 8th at 3 pm PST.

Back by popular demand PAR-BC will again host a healthy cooking event on Resident Wellbeing Day. This event sold out last year so don’t wait, click here to register.
 
Implementation Committee Opportunities
PAR-BC is seeking residents to join the LOU implementation Committee. This committee meets with UBC and the Employer to discuss academic issues that effect the Collective Agreement including leave, scheduling and on-call provisions. Please submit your letter of intent (2 pages or less) to the Bargaining team by emailing if you would like to be involved.
 
Protected Time
If you are volunteering with PAR-BC for example as a Board Member, Program Representative or Committee Member you will not lose pay or benefits for any time committed to PAR-BC. For more information seeArticle 2 of the Collective Agreement.
 
Check your pay stub
Check your pay stub for the second raise of the Collective Agreement. All pay after April 12th is subject to a 1.3% increase.
