Ladysmith

Ladysmith is a small, quiet town on the East coast of Vancouver Island, just South of Nanaimo. Its demographic is mostly made up of retired seniors, and the main industry is in manufacturing. Some tourists like to visit Ladysmith for its peaceful atmosphere.

Transit

Ladysmith is the largest community in British Columbia that is not a part of Transit BC. The only transit system currently in place are trolley buses that drive through the town, called the Ladysmith Trolley.

Monthly Passes are available for the Ladysmith Trolley; you may purchase them at the Frank Jameson Community Centre and at City Hall. Monthly Passes are $30.00 for adults.

Single fares can be purchased upon boarding the trolley. It costs $2.00 for adults.
