Tofino

Tofino is popular place to vacation, as it is on the scenic “Pacific Rim”. It is exceptionally popular during the summer time, attracting many surfers and whale-watchers. The winter season is often referred to as the storm watching season.

Transit

Tofino has a transit system run by Island Express. The buses run from Cox Bay to Tofino and vice versa. The fare is $2.00 one way for adults, and $1 one way for children under the age of 11. Infants under the age of 2 travel for free.
