Applications for Postgraduate Medical Eduation in Canada are coordinated nationally by the Canadian Resident Matching Service (CaRMS). For information on the application process and eligibility requirements view the video available here and read the provincial requirements here.

UBC encourages all residents to take the MCCQE-1 prior to beginning residency, or to take it as soon as possible. The MCCQE-I is a, “one-day, computer-based test that assesses the competence of candidates who have obtained their medical degree, for entry into supervised clinical practice in postgraduate training programs.”
