Health Insurance BC/MSP

The premiums for this provincial service are 100% employer paid after 1 month of employment. If you are from out of province it may take up to 3 months for your enrolment to be processed so please ensure you have adequate coverage until you receive proof of enrolment.

Health Shared Services of BC (Benefits & Payroll)

Your employer paid benefits are administered by this group, they will be able to answer any queries relating to benefits. This is also where you submit your forms for benefit enrolment. They can also assist you with any issues or questions regarding your pay stub. Their hours are 8 am – 4 pm.

Pacific Blue Cross

Pacific Blue cross is the plan provider for your benefits. Claims can be made online through the website, once you have completed the registration process. You will need your group health number which is provided by Vancouver Coastal Health Records and Benefits. If you do not have your group health numbers please contact VCH Records and Benefits through the Health Shared Services BC. Claims can be made online or you can download and submit the forms below.

CARESnet is the online account provided by the Pacific Blue Cross that enables you to access your plan benefits and claim history information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
