Dr. Bowner, Executive Director of the Medical Council of Canada, has sent out a notice requesting that candidates in specialties other than Family Medicine who are eligible to take Part II, should consider taking the exam in Spring rather than Fall due to the projected high volume of candidates for Fall. Royal College Exam Change
Please be advised that the documents which describe the formats of the examinations in Obstetrics & Gynecology, Ophthalmology and Urology have been updated. Specifically, the changes are that Paper 1 of the written component will now include the multiple-choice questions (MCQ) and Paper 2 will now include the short-answer questions (SAQ).
The content of the examination is still based on the Objectives of Training and the examination format can be found at the following link.
