Board of Directors 
Promotes a social, economic, and political climate in which members can provide the citizens of BC with the highest standard of health care while achieving maximum professional satisfaction and fair economic reward.

Council of Health Economics and Policy
Under the guidance and approval of the Board of Directors, the Council on Health Economics and Policy shall direct the activities of the British Columbia Medical Association (BCMA) concerned with the assessment and formulation of policy options relating to the economics, organization and management of the health care system.

Dr. Yangmin Zeng – R2 Internal Medicine (PAR-BC Member at Large)

Rural Issues Committee
The Rural Issues Committee (RIC) is a standing committee of the BCMA Board of Directors that advises on issues affecting rural medicine and the working conditions of those physicians practicing in rural areas of BC. Residents can build leadership in the rural community and provide a viewpoint of newly emerging physicians.
